Forum:Youtube extension problem

It seems the new version of the Youtube extension has a problem. See: http://cannabis.wikia.com/wiki/Tunisia._Cannabis-related_links
The wikitext that has been there a long time is this:
Video below of Feb. 18, 2012 rally in front of the headquarters of the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) in Tunis. See [[Wikipedia: Tunis]]. <youtube>sqwMhnn0s9Q</youtube><br>Youtube [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqwMhnn0s9Q link].
Note the natural (not explicit) line break before the Youtube extension wikitext.
Here it produces this:
Video below of Feb. 18, 2012 rally in front of the headquarters of the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) in Tunis. See Wikipedia: Tunis.
Youtube link.
Depending on screen width there the video is not flush against the left border. And it is doing some weird text wrapping. It is acting like an inline item. I don't think the line break is being seen by the Youtube extension software.
I know MediaWiki treats all text as being in the same paragraph unless explicitly told otherwise by a blank line or <br> or <p> or indentation colon or asterisk at the beginning of a line.
But I believe the Youtube extension in the past acted like a colon or asterisk at the beginning of a line. In other words it was treated as a line break. The current version of the Youtube extension sometimes is not consistently being seen as a line break. I think there may be a need to explicitly make that clearer in the extension. --Timeshifter (talk) 01:07, 12 January 2014 (UTC)
