AWA pages[edit source]
Hey, Airhogs777. I'm Derfel and I'm with the Customer Support Team here at ShoutWiki. I left the following message on Smiley12's talk page in regard to you guy's AWA pages. I saw that you and Smiley12 are working together on those pages, so I wanted to contact you as well. If you have any questions, feel free to drop a line on my talk page. Thanks, Derfel (talk) 12:43, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- "Hey, Smiley12. I'm Derfel and I'm with the Customer Support Team here at ShoutWiki. I just wanted to take a moment and discuss your "Anti-Wikia Alliance" pages that have popped up here on ShoutWiki Hub. While myself and other staff can empathize with you about everything that has happened with Wikia and their new skin, having these pages (here, here, and here) presented in such a way here on the Hub that they appear, somewhat, official in nature (meaning that ShoutWiki staff are supporting them) is something that we need to change. We're not saying that the content of these pages need to be deleted, since we obviously believe in the right (within reason, of course) to say what you want. Instead, what we would like to recommend is that the content of these pages be preserved off of ShoutWiki Hub on a ShoutWiki that you've created (and this would also allow you to have more freedom with how you want to present your feelings). Once that's done then you can use your userpage here on the Hub to point users to your new pages, and you can also update any external URL's elsewhere so that they can point to your content. If you have any questions, feel free to ask on my talk page. Thanks, Derfel (talk)"
